Join Rebecca Reeve, STONELEAF RETREAT's All Season Artist-in-Residence, and co-founders Helen Toomer and Eric Romano for a private viewing, refreshments and tour of Reeve's works created at the residency between May 2018 - March 2019. Reeve will guide visitors through her exhibited works, the studio and discuss her practice, before taking guests to visit her works in situ throughout the landscape at STONELEAF RETREAT. Announcing Artists for the 2019 STONELEAF Residency Program

STONELEAF RETREAT is excited to announce its 2019 Artists-in-Residence; Delali Ayivor, Lizania Cruz, Tarah Douglas, Tamar Ettun, Alison McNulty, Anne Nowak, Keisha Scarville, Hiba Schahbaz and Sacha Vega. 

This group of creative women with diverse practices, explore a range of topics including identity, race, gender, class, immigration, storytelling, materiality, personal freedom, censorship and memory.

We, at STONELEAF, have been thinking about division and the ways that political and social re-imagination of identity can unite us, which influenced our choice in artists.

STONELEAF RETREAT is situated on 20 acres in the Catskill Mountains, just two hours north of New York City. Founded in 2017 by husband and wife, Eric Romano and Helen Toomer, STONELEAF is a warm and welcoming place for people to connect and collaborate. As an extension of the retreat, STONELEAF RESIDENCY provides a home for artists, for short, but immersive, periods of time.
